REVIEW: BOOTLEGGER COFFEE COMPANY

There’s very little better for a millennial than an easy-going, outdoorsy restaurant that serves DIY, Instagrammable breakfast and sells quality coffee.

Bootlegger Coffee Company has boarded the band-wagon and they have just pulled into ‘Success Station’. Recently, they have opened up the newest branch in Tokai and it’s clear to see that this is THE coffee spot for the locals to hang out, in the sunshine and sip on that skinny hot chocolate, NoMU, almond milk coffee or ice cold fresh-pressed juice. That number 6 is a winner – ginger, beetroot and other delicious things make up a great cleanse juice.

As a (self-proclaimed) millennial, I appreciate the brand identity. It’s young, fun and bang on trend. We’re simple creatures – we’re all about the hashtags.

The other branches are situated in Sea Point, Cape Quarter, Kenilworth, Kalk Bay and Point Mall, with another branch opening in Deep River soon. There are a few companies that serve the brands’ coffee in Cape Town, such as Bon Amis at Bloemendal.
