Wine, friends and beautiful landscapes – Constantia Glen, sitting pretty half way up the Constantia Nek, is definitely one of the more popular wine tasting spots for young locals in the area. With it’s north-east facing slopes, with Cape Town wine farm laps up the afternoon sun. Sit over looking the vines and the valley, while sipping on some of the world’s finest wines.
The Constantia Valley is oldest wine producing region in South Africa – with nine award winning farms in the region, churning out international quality wines. The valley has been as to be called the ‘cradle of quality wine making in South Africa’ and is famous for producing wines enjoyed by Napoleon Bonaparte and his 18th century royals.

A classic tasting of five wines at R55 per person, to the premium tasting that includes all seven of our wines at R80 per person. If you purchase wine to the value of R300, one wine tasting fee will be waived. Since Constantia Glen is a working farm, for your own safety they do not allow any pedestrian access, and advise customers to drive carefully though the farm and park only in designated areas around the tasting room.
