Essence Cosmetics has launched their new range of ‘must have’ items for autumn, and we got to try them out! I am enjoying the purple and plum hues, set with the soft pinks and nudes that are going to be the key pieces of your autumn colour palette. It’s never been easier to personalized your make-up collection! Here’s my picks out of the new range.
THE MUST HAVE PALETTE
Essence has finally heard our prayers and answered our wishes and created a DIY palette to suit all our make up needs. No more make up waste, buying a product and only using two shades is a thing of the past. Pick from twenty of your most loved, long-lasting eye-shadow shades to create the prefect ‘must have’ autumn collection. The four-colour empty, multi-functional palette is around R34.95, with each of the individual shades selling at R34,95.

THE SHINE SHINE SHINE LIPGLOSS
Generally, I’m not a big fan of wet-look lips, but this colour is great. I usually find they get tacky through the day, but this one seemed to say smooth during wearing it, although it’s definitely not kiss proof – you’re going to make a mess. With 12 shades, there’s a good variety of choice in colour to suit any wardrobe. The Shine Shine Shine Lipgloss is available for R44,95 each.

THE LUMINOUS MATT BRONZING POWDER
Need to add a little colour to our cheeks? I don’t usually like to add much to my skin, but I do feel like a little swish of tan looks great when your natural colouring has started to fade with the summer. I have since added this powder to my make-up regime. This autumn’s ‘must have’ bronzer is selling for around R64,95.

THE GLOW & CARE LUMINOUS NAIL POLISH
I think every girl who carers about her hands is looking for that ultimate long-lasting, anti-chip nail varnish that is going to treat and care for the nails at the same time as looking amazing. Essence has created a new range of luminous products that is said to strengthen and protect the nails with added kukui oil. This colour is super cute to go with all the dark tones of autumn. These great polishes go for R39,95 each.

THE VOLUME STYLIST 18H LASH EXTENSION MASCARA
No need for lash extensions this autumn. This ‘must have’ mascara has your natural lashes looking full, long and gorgeous all day. Apparently, the diamond shape of the brush contains lengthening fibers. The mascara is selling for R64,95.
