CURRENTLY OBSESSED: YARDLEY 16HR INTENSE MATTE LIPSTICKS

We’re always looking for that perfect lipstick. One that’s the right shade. Long lasting but doesn’t stain. A lipstick that has the right amount of pigment, not too drying, not too glossy, and definitely not too tacky. Well, we’re mildly obsessing over the Yardley 16Hr Intense Matte Lipsticks.

We’re long standing fans of Yardley as we’ve been turning to their Colour Correcting Primer as our ‘ride or die‘ for 3 years now, and have never doubted it for a second, among other products! And we have recently added the Absolute Translucent Loose Powder to our make up regime, and it’s another win for the brand in our eyes.

The formula is exactly what is says – ridiculously long lasting and matte as anything, but in the best way possible. I’m no ‘high shine, tacky all day, glossy lippie’ wearer, so matte as matte can be is the way to go if you’re a heavy duty, daily lipstick wearer like me. I need that ‘all day long’, ‘lock and go’ type of product and this definitely comes to the party.

8 out of 10 of the Yardley shades in this new range are killers for me! Rogue and Iconic are the perfect reds for when you’re feeling sultry, sexy and bold (And actually, have the perfect undertones for our skin much like the famous Ruby Woo of MAC). I didn’t love Drama Queen and Dark n Stormy as they didn’t suit my (ghecko-like) pale skin tone, but Angelic is my new go-to peach nude of the moment.
