Between this, which I’ve been using for almost two weeks, twice a day, and the Sound Sleep Cocoon which launched in May, my face has never looked so smooth, fine wrinkle-free, radiant and bright. I’m lapping up that Vitamin-C goodness and feeling as fresh & youthful as ever.
I think I speak for around 85% of the worlds’ female (and female-feeling) population in saying that we don’t want our skin to show our age, and we definitely don’t want to look ‘old’! Pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, dull skin & scarring can make us feel drab and our self confidence really takes a hit when we don’t like what you see in the mirror.
I truly didn’t know that most of these issues can be simply solved with a good regime of skin care surface products, rather than more extreme measures (by that, I mean major surgery like a face or brow lift, or mini producers like derma-penning, facelift threading or needling or even something like fillers like Botox.).
I’ve been contemplating getting Botox for a while now to get rid of my deeper wrinkles (which have softened and are no longer staring at me every time I look in the mirror thanks to my change up in skin care recently), and a chemical peel to get rid of those acne scars – but I HONESTLY am shocked to say that looking at my face just 10 DAYS after using this Biolumin-C Serum (along with the Sound Sleep Cocoon, and slightly increasing my water intact) – I really don’t think either of those extreme measures will be necessary any time soon thanks to the magic in these products.
So, you’re probably wondering how it works! Well, as always, take my report back with a pinch of salt because I’m not a skincare professional – you can find all the scientific stuff on dermalogica’s website – BUT it’s all about that Vitamin-C Complex, Sophora Japonica Flower Extract, Chia Seed Oil and Latic Acid that helps the serum ‘work with the skin to enhance your natural defenses to brighten, firm and defend from within’ with a pump of amazing antioxidants and a great amount of Vitamin-C power.
Like the Sound Sleep Cocoon, in the first couple of days, I did see a couple of spots coming up (TMI alert… 1 nasty one and 2 tiny ones in my T-Zone), which I think is normal when introducing a new product to your skin. I also know I have over active sebaceous glands that love panicking whenever I try something different.
Before you think – Sheesh! another product to use… the magical Biolumin-C Serum is really easy to slot into your daily routine. Morning and night, after washing and toning your face, smooth over your face and neck before moisturizing. At night, you’d then add that incredible Sound Sleep Cocoon on top of all of that to lock it all into place.
It’s so amazing how everything works together – you’re looking fresher and brighter from the pump from the Biolumin-C Serum, and you’re looking more relaxed, naturally brighter and radiant from getting a good nights sleep thanks to the magic of the Sound Sleep Cocoon, which in turn gives your confidence that push it needs and et VOILA! You’re feeling like a million bucks – from just changing a couple of habits and routines – and a change of mind set about yourself.
This product is now available in South Africa from dermalogica Online, a Concept Store near you and affiliated stores nationwide. The 30ml glass bottle of product is retailing for R1495, which can last around 1 and a half months, if used correctly twice a day (dermalogica suggests that you use a full dropper full of product each application, but I found that 3 – 4 nice drops was enough to coat my face and neck)
P.S. This product is vegan and animal cruelty free. Dermalogica has NEVER taken part and WILL never take part in animal testing. What a win!
Stay Golden x
