If you’re never fully dressed without a smile, let Home In One powered by Express Smile Atlanta make that smile shine bright like a diamond. The product, made famous by celebrity users such as Kylie Jenner and all the other Kardashian sisters, as well as Glee’s star Michelle Lea, is the easiest, fastest whitening product I have used to date.
The home kit contains two syringes of whitening gel, two thermoforming mouth trays and a LED activation light box. In case you were wondering, the whitening gel contains Hydrogen Peroxide, Propylene Glycol, Kosher Glycerine, peppermint essential oil, Triethanolamine, deionized water & Xylitol.
The process is so so simple. Just dry off your teeth, get your gel on, pop in the trays and carry on as you were. The trays are comfortable, and the light box is light. You actually forget about it – but remember to time your session. Avoid the gums. To save gel, apply the gel to your (clean) finger tip and apply to each tooth, rather than filling the trays. After time is up, take your trays out and rinse your mouth properly. Don’t forget to not eat or drink for an hour, at least, after you have done the treatment.
I’ve heard there are a few ways to get results. Either you can start off with a long-session of 25 – 30 mins, and then use daily for 60 seconds, until you reach your desired colour, or you can do weekly long-sessions of 30 mins. To get the best results in the two week stretch, I did three 20 minute sessions, and achieved great results. My teeth were a bit sensitive after the third use, although that’s fairly normal. I tracked my ‘whitening progress’ using the chart on the side of the box, and happily moved from a 4 to a 2.
Need another high point? The product is definitely not tested on animals, and suitable for vegans to use, as it is completely synthetic and contains NO animal product.
You can purchase the kit for R595 (using WeChat Wallet, you will get R200 cash back) via the local South African Website. Follow them on the global Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts or follow the conversation at #homeinone.
And it’s always important to remember: “Use your smile to change the world. Don’t let the world change your smile”.
