If you’ve been following our Instagram Stories, you may have seen the unboxing of this little treat in early July. Rain Africa started running an awareness initiative in July around ‘Skin As Dry As Toast’, helping find that perfect lotion, cream or butter to keep your skin soft, nourished and moisturized in winter. Through most of July and the beginning of August, my Rain Wild Cotton Body Butter and I traveled around South Africa.
The key ingredients for the Rain Wild Cotton range are focused on adding that natural nourishment to your body. The African products contain organic, wild harvested sweet almond, baobab and marula oil and shea butter that have long lasting skin benefits.
Marula oil, known as Africa’s beauty secret and recently dubbed the ‘miracle oil in the cosmetics industry, is an all-natural, very light textured oil full of powerful antioxidants and nutrients. It’s said to be naturally soothing and fast-absorbing. And it’s 100% African.
Before applying the butter, give the product a mix with your finger as the ingredients may have separated a little. The product feels like water (it’s such a strange feeling) but as soon as you rub it in, your skin just drinks up all the nourishment and leaves you feeling like you’ve just got caught in the rain – completely replenished.
