After hearing mixed reviews about a newly opened local spot, we like to check it out! The Hub Cafe in Scarborough is nestled in the heart of the trendy seaside town at the tip of Africa – and has been the talk of the town for locals and tourists alike.
We picked a few dished to share between us, as there was a few choices for vegetarians – and we wanted to try them all. The service was good, and the venue was PACKED – but we waited a fair while for our food (almost an hour) and we were a little taken aback by the pricing was a bit heavy for what we got. The portions of the meat dishes were reasonable but the food was tasty so will have to visit again to give them another shot. Will definitely recommend that others go to try it out, even for a cocktail or sundowner and a snack
Follow The Hub Cafe on social: Website, Facebook and Instagram. The restaurant is open Tuesday – Sunday. We always suggest calling ahead on +27 (0)21 780 1047 to book your table at the The Village Hub restaurant at 2 Watsonia Lane in Scarborough, Cape Town. There’s a fair amount of parking right outside the venue, but feel free to park and walk as the area is pretty safe.
